• Salish Crossing has no accounts, ads, tracking or analytics. We don’t sell or share your data.
• Your location never reaches us. The app uses it on your device, and sends it to Apple Maps to find how long it takes you to reach a terminal.
• To send alerts and Live Activities, the app registers with our server: a random ID, security keys that show it’s the real app, and your device’s notification tokens. For each trip you track, the server keeps the sailing, where you get on and off, how you’re travelling and the alerts you want. It deletes a trip within 8 hours of the crossing, and a device unused for 90 days. Server backups hold them for up to 5 days. It doesn’t keep IP addresses.
• The app also loads maps from Apple and pictures of the boats from Washington State Ferries.
• This website sets no cookies and has no analytics.
